Is UBS trying to move staffers out of its Stamford campus and into Manhattan? The company has hired a CBRE team to scout for 750,000 square feet. According to a report in Real Estate Finance & Investment the securitization, larger fixed-income platform and equities teams are in line to make the Manhattan move with an eye on recruitment.

A UBS spokesperson said the company leases space throughout the tri-state area and routinely evaluates its business needs and space allocation as leases expire and/or space becomes available. “No final decisions have been made about moving any significant number of UBS employees to or from Stamford, New York or any of our other tri-state locations,” the spokeswoman said
