First Republic Bank is setting itself up with a new banking location at One Grand Central Place.

The full service lender will have 14,430 square feet across the ground and second floors of the building, which is also known as 60 E. 42nd St.

The former Bank of America space is also directly opposite Grand Central Terminal and the in-progress One Vanderbilt, where TD Bank will have its 200,000 square feet of offices as well as a retail location.

First Republic was represented by Frank Doyle and Eric Grace of JLL. The owner of One Grand Central Place, Empire State Realty Trust, was represented in-house by Fred Posniak. The asking rent was $110 a square foot for the ground floor.

First Republic will offer private banking, private business banking, private wealth management and other services at the new facility.
