Over 50,000 square feet of office space has been absorbed in Midtown South through two subleases.

Havas PR Worldwide and McCubbin Hosiery have now split the former Rose Associates fifth floor digs through subleases at the 26-story 200 Madison Ave. which takes up the full blockfront between East 35th and 36th streets.

Havas, already a tenant on the 6th, 7th, 9th and 20th floors, leased 26,401 square feet, while McCubbin Hosiery, which is known as Leg Apparel, leased the other half of the floor with a deal for 26,476 square feet.

Five years remained on the Rose lease for 52,877 square feet.

Jeffrey Rosenblatt, who recently joined SquareFoot, represented Rose while with the Kaufman Organization for the original deal, on its move last year to 777 Third Ave., and for the two subleases that had asking rents in the mid-$40s per foot.

Craig Berman of Joseph P. Day negotiated for the George Comfort & Sons and Jamestown ownership.
