Hello Alfred is saying Hello to 61 Broadway. The assistant service moved to the 22,327 square feet building that was formerly occupied by architect Bjarke Ingels Group, which moved to larger Dumbo digs. The space was so pristine, Hello Alfred moved from 55 W. 19th St. the day after BIG moved out.

Dennis Someck and Justin Myers, of Lee & Associates NYC, represented the company. Founded in 2014 by Marcela Sapone and Jessica Beck to create time for people to do what they love, they now have raised $40 million in a series B funding and are hiring so fast they moved from just 3,800 square feet.

Hello Alfred joins the building where data governance platform Collibra is expanding by 24,479 feet through a lease for the full 31st floor. That company already has 12,067 feet on the 24th floor and becomes the building’s largest tenant at 36,546 feet.

Not only did the company expand, but they were able to almost instantly populate the place from its temp quarters in the nearby Broad Street WeWork.

Collibra was represented by Peter Sabesan of Cresa.

Both companies signed 10-year terms with rents in the low $60’s per square foot. Daniel Birney of RXR represented the company in-house alongside the Newmark Knight Frank team of Hal Stein, Ben Shapiro, David Malawer and Todd Stracci.

“We’re excited to take over Bjarke Ingels’ former space at 61 Broadway,” Hello Alfred CEO Sapone said. “Just as the new chief architect for WeWork & his firm have reshaped skylines, we’re re-reshaping how people live. We couldn’t imagine a better place to build and nurture a world-class team.”
