A San Francisco-based hedge fund, Redmile Group, is moving from Midtown to NoMad.

The 5,702-square-foot space consists of the full 11th floor at 45 W. 27th St. in the Kaufman Organization building. With $2.3 billion under management, Redmile worked with the Kaufman team to create a new gym and private shower within the space.

Vincent Tuminelli and Richard Plehn of Cresa New York represented the tenant, which is currently in a partial floor at 529 Fifth Ave.

Michael Heaner, Grant Greenspan and Eliott Warren represented the ownership, which had an asking rent around $70 per square foot.

The building’s lobby has three-dimensional fins created by Design Republic, while its elevator shafts were painted by graffiti artist Skott Marsi.

The new Victorian-themed watering hole, Oscar Wilde’s, is in the retail space and, at 118.5 feet, boasts the longest bar in the City.
