Trendy architect Winka Dubbeldam has been slapped with a stop work order on the three-story TriBeCa building she is renovating and living in without the proper certificate of occupancy.

Dubbeldam also maintains offices for her architecture practice, Archi-Tectonics, in the building.

Curbed first reported the Building Department problems yesterday.

While it is not unusual for buildings to have violations, it’s a real “got ya” moment to find a prominent architect doing work on her own property without permits and violating rules for occupancy.

Violations on the Hubert Street building include summonses for failure to maintain the building in a “code compliant” manner, work not conforming to what was requested in permits and residential occupancy of the second and third floors, contrary to the certificate of occupancy.

Additionally, a review of city documents by The Post found that in 2008, Dubbeldam built a 416-square-foot addition that ticked off a neighboring building owner as it violated an earlier agreement between the two properties to maintain a minimum distance for light and air.

Dubbeldam did not return a call or e-mail for comment.
