The Eleven, the twin-towered and twisty Chelsea project, will boast not only the first US Six Senses Hotel and luxurious residential condominiums but also 85,000 square feet of retail along the High Line.

Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, The Eleven, with its towers designated No. 1 and No. X, is being developed by Ziel Feldman’s HFZ Capital Group and will sit on the full block bounded by West 17th and 18th streets and 10th and 11th avenues.

The gravity-defying mixed-use project, which includes an additional low-rise building for the hotel and amenities, was topped out last week and sits at a prominent turn on the High Line, making it a landmark while walking south from Hudson Yards.

The Six Senses’ food and beverage outlets, along with its spa and wellness facilities, will be spread throughout 55,000 square feet of the total retail.

An additional 30,000 square feet of interspersed retail spaces under and around the High Line will be curated and leased by Beth Rosen, who’s leading a Ripco team. These ground-floor and second-floor spaces along West 17th Street all have 12-foot-high ceilings on both levels and run the length of 11th Avenue before wrapping the corner into West 18th Street.

A 1,500-square-foot storefront that is mid-block on West 18th Street has additional access to the High Line. It is adjacent to Six Senses’ signature restaurant, which also extends from the landscaped 10th Avenue plaza. A similarly sized availability is next to the hotel entrance.

The low-rise commercial building on the northwest corner of West 17th Street and 10th Avenue has significant retail available on two floors while Six Senses will occupy the top three floors.

Restaurants, fashion and lifestyle brands, along with art galleries, are all being targeted by Ripco.
