LinkedIn has signed its sixth expansion at the Empire State Building since 2011 to total 312,947 square feet.

The newest transaction adds the entire 30,165 square feet on the 27th floor, completing its contiguous office campus.

The company, run by chief executive Jeff Weiner, occupies about 90,000 square feet on the third floor, where it has a large private food hall, along with studios, a conference center and offices.

The remainder of its space is on the 22nd through 28th floors. The 27th floor was its missing link.

Founded in 2003, LinkedIn, the social media site for professionals, connects people through its websites and mobile apps.

More than 1,000 employees of the Mountain View, Calif.-based company’s total workforce of 10,000-plus work in the Empire State Building location.

Sacha Zarba and Lauren Crowley Corrinet of CBRE represented LinkedIn in the 7½-year lease, which coterminates with its other floors. The Empire State Realty Trust’s representation was provided by Thomas Durels, Ryan Kass and Shanae Ursini.

The asking rent was $72 per square foot.

The Empire State Building has created its own interior Urban Campus with a 15,000-square-foot fitness center, a tenant-only conference center and nine in-building dining options that include Juice Press, Sushi-teria, Chop’t, Tacombi and two Starbucks, one of which is dedicated to mobile-order pickups.
