SRS Investment Management, a subtenant at One Bryant Park on the northeast corner of 42nd Street and Sixth Avenue, has expanded by 5,759 feet and signed a direct deal with the Durst Organization for 17,131 square feet on a portion of the 39th floor.

SRS, which is currently subletting from Marathon Asset Management through August, was represented in the new 10-year deal by Ben Friedland and Sacha Zarba of CBRE. The Durst Organization had an asking rent of $175 per square foot and was represented in-house by Tom Bow and Rocco Romeo.

Founded in 2007 by Karthik Sarma, a former partner at Tiger Global, the long/short and long-only fundamental equity investor now oversees regulatory assets of over $7 billion, including large stakes in Avis and LinkedIn. And that’s the long and short of it.
