A well-known monster tech company, the Armonk-based IBM, has signed a 27,699-square-foot lease at 19 Union Square West at East 15th Street.
IBM was previously a subtenant of FanDuel in 9,233 square feet and is now leasing the ninth through 11th floors for its engineering and technology operations. Carl Ericksen of CBRE represented the tenant in the transaction.
James Caseley, Charles Conwell, Gregg Schenker, Earle Altman and Steven Hornstock of ABS Partners represented the ownership, which had an asking rent of $80 per square foot.
