Athleisure retailer Bandier is opening a new flagship at 108 Fifth Ave. at the southwest corner of West 16th Street, where it will have 100 feet of wraparound frontage.
The company has been open nearby at 164 Fifth Ave., but after three years, needs more elbow room to serve the denizens of the exercise-conscious Flatiron District.
The new deal for 5,600 square feet will provide plenty of room for both its apparel and its Studio B’s popular exercise classes, with 2,300 square feet on the ground floor and another 3,300 on the lower level.
Ariel Schuster and Ike Bibi of RKF represented Bandier in the sublease from North Sails, which was represented by CBRE’s Joseph Hudson.
The asking rent was $450 per square foot.
Bandier also has an Upper East Side spot at 150 E. 72nd St., on Plandome Road in Manhasset, on Main Street in Southampton and in Dallas.
