Broadway Technology is heading to 25,000 square feet on the 50th floor of 28 Liberty.

The financial trading solutions firm will be relocating from 13,047 square feet at the nearby 140 Broadway.

The asking rent was $75 per square foot and the company will design the space with a unique brand aesthetic that can be replicated at its other offices in Austin, London and Waterloo.

With that in mind, Ajay Chopra of Echo Design + Architecture has been hired for all the interiors.

Founded in 2003 by experts in enterprise software and quantitative trading, Broadway Technology recently closed a $42 million minority investment led by Long Ridge Equity Partners and it needed the larger quarters to accommodate its expected growth.

The Savills Studley team of Zev Holzman, Paul Revson and Brian Scharfman represented Broadway Technology in the long-term deal.

Building owner Fosun was represented by Tom Costanzo in-house, as well as John Wheeler and Michael Berman of JLL.

As we previously reported, Fosun has already nailed down Danny Meyer to handle the top-floor public restaurant and catering, while Post colleague Steve Cuozzo revealed an Alamo Drafthouse movie house will be part of its newly reconfigured retail and public plaza.
