A new dog-focused store, Wooftown, has leased a 1,030-square-foot shop at 91 Christopher St., where it will open in December.

The two-level space has 540 square feet on the ground and 490 square feet for storage.

This will be the first US location for the Toronto-based firm, which focuses on healthy and happy pets. Along with accessories, it sells high-end nutrition products including its own freshly prepared dog food.

Dean Valentino of ABS Partners Real Estate represented the tenant, which wanted to be near the Bleecker Street shopping corridor between Seventh Avenue and Hudson Street.

Richard Skulnik and Lindsay Zegans of Ripco Real Estate represented the Dalan Management ownership, which had an asking rent of $245 per square foot for the ground floor.
