The partners behind the Tao Group restaurant and nightclub empire — Marc Packer, Richard Wolf, Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss — are extending their hospitality to hotels.

We’ve learned that the new 23-story hotel on 414 W. 15th St. in the Meatpacking District will be the first-ever Tao-branded hotel.

Rockpoint Group and Highgate Holdings have been developing the vacant lot owned by Richard Meilman and his family and expect to complete it in the summer of 2016.

CetraRuddy is the architectural company for the hotel that will rise to 278 feet and include a huge rooftop lounge for up to 240 people, a 23rd floor lounge for the same number, as well as another lounge and terrace on the second floor, city permits show.

Nearby, the Tao Downtown has been serving up its pan-Asian cuisine since 2013 at 92 Ninth Ave. and 16th Street underneath the Maritime Hotel.

Tao Group also owns the nearby Avenue at 116 10th Ave. at 17th Street, and a slew of other brands including the clubs Marquee in Chelsea and Lavo in Las Vegas.

A rep declined to comment on the new hotel venture. Meilman did not return a call for comment.
