Residents of the upcoming apartment tower at Houston and Orchard streets next to Katz’s Deli will be able to work off the pastrami.

The Equinox fitness chain will open in 30,000 square feet, including the entire second and third floors, at 196 Orchard St.

The asking rent was $300 a foot on the ground and much less upstairs. Another 30,000 square feet of retail is still available.
