AKOO Clothing, the brainchild of rap star T.I., is getting outfitted with a new urban outpost.

The Grammy-award winning artist, songwriter, music and film producer and actor was born in Atlanta as Clifford Harris, and has just leased 9,355 square feet on the second floor of 231 W. 39th St. for his clothing line showroom.

Michael Yadgard of Maxwelle New York represented the tenant AKOO/RP55, as AKOO is owned by RP55 Group, a manufacturing and distribution firm that also has offices in China and Virginia Beach.

Jeff Buslik and James Buslik of Adams & Co. represented the building in the 12-year deal that had an asking rent of $45 per square foot. The building, also known as the Contemporary Fashion Center, has a brand new lobby at its west annex.
