Under Armour is showing its stuff in the Big Apple for the first time.

The performance underwear and clothing company has signed a lease in a three-level Soho space at 583 Broadway for its first city store and flagship retail space.

The 15-year lease covers 7,000 square feet with 16-foot ceilings on the ground floor, 6,000 square feet on the lower level and 7,500 square feet of storage in a sub-basement.

Kenji Ota of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the Baltimore-based company while Josh Strauss of RKF repped the building owner. Alan Grossman acted as an adviser to the ownership. No one could be reached for comment late Wednesday.

The store was previously occupied by Espirit.

Under Armour reported a 23 percent surge in sales in July and has a conference call scheduled with analysts on Thursday.

Chief Executive Kevin Plank and swimmer Michael Phelps hosted a grand opening event for the new Under Armour Experience in Shanghai earlier this month. The store uses a multidimensional short film “to immerse visitors in the brand’s world of making athletes better through passion and innovation.”
