Public records reveal new details about Vivienne Westwood’s purchase of 14 E. 55th St. from Starwood for its new US headquarters and flagship store. The deal was first reported in The Post’s “On the Money.”

While the design house plunked down $12.7 million to complete the deal last week, the building’s air rights were retained by Starwood so as not to block the lot line windows of its St. Regis hotel next door.

The sales agreement gives Starwood a right of first refusal for a future resale and to partake in future upside should the townhouse be ground leased or resold.

Uber-broker Neil Sroka of his eponymous team at Douglas Elliman declined to comment.
