The producers of “Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark” are still clinging to the hope that the Empire State Building will agree to change its colors to red and blue for their opening night next week.

Team Spidey said they’d splash two large LED screens with the ESB at its debut curtain call and offered to send over U2’s Bono and The Edge — two of the show’s backers and songwriters — for a glitzy lighting ceremony, a source said.

But the Big Apple landmark has remained unimpressed and refuses to consider the offer, according to the source.

As first reported in The Post, it was first approached last week but refused unless a scene that takes place at the Chrysler Building is changed .
