The 45-story tower at 1211 Sixth Ave., known as the News Corp. Building for its largest tenant and The Post’s parent company, is in preliminary discussions about options including a sale or a recapitalization by its Boston-based owner, Beacon Capital Partners, sources told The Post.
Beacon, which didn’t return a call for comment, purchased the building in 2006 for $1.52 billion.
