A pollster believed to be working for a state attorney general candidate is asking voters how they feel about former Gov. Mario Cuomo.

A Post reporter in Scarsdale got a call from a pollster at about 5 p.m. Monday, asking what the reporter thought of the five Democratic candidates for attorney general – one of whom is Andrew Cuomo, Mario’s son. The pollster’s last question asked how the reporter felt about Mario Cuomo.

Andrew Cuomo is the front-runner in the Democratic primary race.

The pollster, who identified himself as working for On Target Research, also t asked if it was important to have an African-American as attorney general.

Former federal housing official Charlie King is the only black candidate in the race, which also includes Mark Green, Denise O’Donnell and Sean Patrick Maloney. Aides to Green, O’Donnell, King and Maloney denied conducting the poll. The Cuomo camp would not confirm or deny if it was their poll.
