The Big Unit has rented a big unit.

New Yankee star Randy Johnson and his family are renting a sky-high luxury condo on the Great White Way.

The 41-year-old pitcher, his wife, Lisa, and their four kids are living in the northern reaches of the Theater District, enjoying sweeping views of Central Park and the Hudson River, for a cool $25,000 a month.

The 6-feet-10 Johnson’s luxurious 58th-floor pad features 10-foot-high walls of glass with views in three directions, five bedrooms, 5½ bathrooms, a library, a formal dining room, eat-in kitchen, walk-in closets and individual-room climate control.

The two-year lease coincides with the hurler’s two-year, $32 million contract with the Bronx Bombers.

The move to the neon core of the Big Apple surprised some who thought the notoriously private and sometimes gruff Johnson would prefer a sleepy suburb. Not so, says his agent, Alan Nero.

He “wanted to experience the whole of New York,” Nero said.

And he is, in style.

He’s a regular at landmark Patsy’s Italian Restaurant on 56th Street, where chef Sal Scognamillo says the Unit devours rigatoni with meat sauce, lasagna, pea soup and Caesar salads.

“He’s a great guy, I think he’s just a little shy sometimes,” Scognamillo said. “He treats everyone great, signs autographs for everyone that comes up to him at the table.”

The major league’s tallest player, who tends to smack his head on the eatery’s entry chandelier, told the staff he plans to eat there all season as a pregame ritual.

“He said every time he eats at Patsy’s he wins,” Scognamillo laughed, noting that at the time, Johnson had only pitched a single game, last week’s Opening Day victory.

“I hope he does, though,” he added. “He told me he needed some good carbs before he plays. He asks for one portion, I always give him two.”

Johnson has also been spotted frequenting Serafina Broadway at 55th Street and Broadway.

In fact, he ate dinner there with two buddies following his home-opener victory.

“He sits by the window, but nobody bothers him because we get a lot of celebrities in here,” a hostess said.
