Bill Clinton not only has been looking at some of the city’s loftiest towers for office space, he’s also been perusing Park Avenue for an apartment, Realtors say.

The soon-to-be-ex-president must move from the Oval Office to a square one by next week, but sources say he and Sen. Hillary Clinton aren’t selling their Old House Lane home in Chappaqua – yet.

“The president is looking up and down Park Avenue,” said Jim Lewis of Coldwell Banker Hunt Kennedy.

Visiting what is expected to become his office at Carnegie Hall Tower at 152 E. 57th St., Clinton last week stopped at the 53rd floor – where Related Cos., a major developer, has a sales office for condos at the Park Imperial at Broadway and 55th Street, and Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle, sources say.

Bubba also visited friends at an apartment at the 40-story 500 Park Ave., also known as Park Avenue Tower, where 24 stories of residences are cantilevered over offices on the lower 16 stories, the sources add.

Jerry Speyer developed the award-winning James Stewart Polskek-designed building, where fellow real estate honchos Jerry L. Cohen, also of Tishman Speyer, and Larry A. Silverstein, chairman of Silverstein Properties, hunker down at night.

Silverstein previously hosted a fund-raiser for the first lady’s senatorial run aboard his yacht on the Hudson.

According to Cityrealty.com, units at 500 Park Tower have 9-foot, 2-inch ceilings. The “A” units also have a huge gallery entrance and wrap-around windows, and windowed bathrooms – a potential security nightmare, sources note.

Windowed baths might also be an issue at 515 Park Ave., where there are a few full-floor units for sale. One on the 10th floor has a bathroom window facing directly into the neighboring building.

Like the office at Carnegie Hall Tower, the elevator opens directly into the apartment, which is a Secret Service plus for controlled access.

“There are beautiful hardwood floors and a beige marble in the bathroom,” said Jim Lewis of Coldwell Banker Hunt Kennedy. “This four-to-five-bedroom unit has 4,000 square feet and is listed for over $10 million.”

But since it’s a condo, Hillary’s book advance won’t be frittered away in one fell swoop.

“You only have to put 10 percent down,” advised Lewis, whose firm has the listing. His firm also represents 500 Park, where there are no units currently on the market.
